What message does the art on your walls deliver?

It’s actually a much more important question than most people realize.

Artwork speaks, though it uses a silent language to do so.  And you want to be sure that your artwork is sending the right message and, more importantly,  not sending the wrong message.

Before purchasing a piece of art you should consider the function of the space in which it will be displayed.

Artwork for a business setting should be selected to set a tone which is appropriate to the type of business which will be conducted.  Color, theme, genre and style all send subliminal messages, and each plays an equally important role in helping to compose that message.

The same is also true when selecting artwork for your home.  The artwork displayed in a bedroom should be very different from the artwork you display in your dining room.

As an artist, I would welcome the opportunity to help you find the perfect artwork for your business or home.  During a site visit, we would discuss what messages you want to send and make appropriate selections, then discuss substrates and framing options to custom design your selected pieces to fit both your space and your budget.

I invite you to contact me to schedule an appointment at your convenience.
